A FANTASY DUNGEON CRAWLER

You play as a brave adventurer in a fantasy world of magic and monsters.

You explore a map, fighting enemies as you go, searching for treasure in every corner.

After a limited number of rounds, each player that has defeated the dangerous boss enemy compares their collected loot. The player with the most gold is the winner!

A ROLL-AND-WRITE GAME

Game play is straight-forward and intuitive. Each round, two dice are rolled. Each player uses the same two values to resolve their actions for the round.

Players move across the map by drawing the path they have taken. Defeated enemies and collected treasures are crossed out. Information about your adventurer's traits and resources are recorded on your hero sheet.

At the end of your game, you can recycle your marked papers or keep them as a souvenir! If you like, you may laminate your game sheets and use dry-erase markers to avoid continuously reprinting them.

EXAMPLE OF PLAY

The following is an example of play using the Knight hero and the Goblin Tunnels map, both of which can be found in the first Core Set.

VARIETY FOR REPLAYABILITY

Warriors & Writings Set 2, Fury of the Wild, features two characters, the Berserker and the Ranger, along with three different maps.

Each character has their own advantages and special abilities. Each map presents a different set of challenges. By playing different combinations of characters and maps, the game will provide a variety of experiences and stay fresh through many plays.

While Fury of the Wild is a stand-alone experience, everything in this Set 2 is fully compatible with Set 1. You can freely mix and match heroes and maps between the two sets. You can find Warriors & Writings Set 1 here.
